Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Who we are
Jeito is operated by Jeito House Inc., a Delaware corporation. When these terms say "Jeito," "we," or "us," they mean Jeito House Inc. When they say "you," they mean the person using the service.
What Jeito is
Jeito is a listening-comprehension training service for Brazilian Portuguese. It teaches the language as Brazilians actually speak it, through audio scenes, lessons, and related learning content.
Jeito is currently in early access. Features may change, appear, or be removed as we build. The service is free during early access; if we introduce paid plans, their pricing and terms will be posted clearly before you are ever charged.
Your account
You need an account for the learning experience. Keep your credentials to yourself, give us accurate information, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jeito.
Acceptable use
Jeito is for your personal learning. Don't scrape, bulk-download, re-host, or redistribute our audio, transcripts, or lessons; don't resell access; don't probe, overload, or interfere with the service; and don't use Jeito to do anything illegal.
Our content
Everything in Jeito — the audio, transcripts, lessons, explanations, design, and software — belongs to Jeito House Inc. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for learning while you use the service. That license does not let you copy or republish the content elsewhere.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you agree we can use them to improve Jeito without obligation to you.
What we don't promise
Jeito teaches real, colloquial Brazilian Portuguese, and we work hard to make it accurate and natural. But language learning outcomes depend on you, and the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or any particular learning result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeito House Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose — which, during free early access, is zero.
Ending things
You can stop using Jeito and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also discontinue the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice where practical.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Jeito evolves. If a change is material, we'll post the updated terms here and update the date above. Continuing to use Jeito after a change means you accept the new terms.
